One of the greatest benefits of our vineyards is their age. Most of the plantings are over 20 years old, some even 30, and the greatest rarity is the Chardonnay from 1968.
The vines, with deep roots (up to 15 meters), transfer beautiful minerality into the grapes, giving our wines a unique flavor.

The beginnings of grapevine cultivation by our agricultural cooperative can be dated back to 1951, when the first 3.5 hectare plot was planted. It gradually expanded to today’s 133 hectares. The Mojmírovské vineyards are spread over the Nitra hills, which are part of the Danube Plain.
