Original wines
Branded wines that you won’t find anywhere else.
This collection offers cuvées, or even pure varieties, which are processed in our own way, it is characterized by an original, unusual processing procedure, it wants to offer unique and unusual products.
Apart from Mojmír, they are generally lighter, more drinkable wines, from dry to sweet.
This collection has been enriched the most in recent years and is gradually becoming essential for us.
Each product has a two-word label, the main name is dominant and the second one clarifies
the nature of the wine (e.g. Veltlínček light – indicates that it is a lighter form of the Veltlínske variety, etc.
Short “slogans” were created for some of the wines from this collection, but unfortunately not for all of them yet, but that is my long-term goal. For these wines, I had the intention of creating a separate life for each product – the advantage of the entire collection is, and we want to build on this in the future, that no one but us offers these products (in contrast to Gastrolinia, where all producers offer purely varietal wines)
The entire OW collection is strongly colored, where even the colors of the label underline the character of the wine.
As a somewhat separate component within Original wines, there are three items:
Mojmír white, Mojmír rosé and Mojmír black. – all three are strictly DRY wines – here is our ambition to upgrade these 3 wines to something more, which could represent us externally, which we are not quite successful in yet, but we are already working on it.m (we are in Mojmírovce, that’s why Mojmír…) The label is in the same style, but these 3 right from this collection are closed with a cork and are in a more robust bottle (the others are closed with a screw cap)
Our story
With the love of wine for more than 60 years
The beginnings of grapevine cultivation by our agricultural cooperative can be dated back to 1951, when the first 3.5 hectare plot was planted. It gradually expanded to today’s 133 hectares. The Mojmírovské vineyards are spread over the Nitra hills, which are part of the Danube Plain.
